Terms of use
Who we are
We are iShazam, a small-business automation and web services company based in Melbourne, Australia. You can reach us at [email protected].
Using this site
You are welcome to browse and use this site. Please do not misuse it, try to break it, or use it for anything unlawful.
Free tools and reports
Our free tools and reports give general information only. They are not professional advice, and you should not rely on them as a substitute for advice about your own situation. Figures are estimates and are labelled "est." where they appear. Our free tools use public information and automated tests. We don't guarantee results are complete, current or error-free.
AI-assisted work
Parts of our reports and content are drafted with the help of AI and checked by a person. They may still contain errors, so please check anything important before you rely on it.
Bookings and calls
When you book a call, we will use the details you provide to arrange and prepare for it. Calls are a chance to talk about your needs; they do not create a contract for work.
Our work for clients
Any work we do for you is covered by a separate written agreement. Before any paid work starts, we send you a written quote and agreement covering the price, deposit, timing, cancellation and who owns what. These terms apply to this site only and do not replace that agreement.
Once you have paid in full, you own the workflows, pages and content we build for your business. We keep our own templates, methods and reusable building blocks.
Your data is always yours. If you leave, we hand over your workflows, files and access details, then remove our access.
Invoices are due within 14 days. We may pause work on overdue accounts.
If you cancel a project, you pay for work done so far. Deposits cover time we have set aside for you.
Third-party tools
Our services use other companies' tools, such as automation, email, hosting and AI platforms. Where possible, these accounts are set up in your name and you pay for them directly. Usage costs (for example AI, SMS or call charges) are passed on at cost, with no hidden markup. We aren't responsible for those providers' outages, price changes or rule changes, but we will tell you when one affects your service and help you fix or replace it.
Intellectual property
The content, design and branding on this site belong to us or our licensors. Please do not copy or reuse them without our permission.
Links to other sites
This site may link to other websites. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or practices.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to [amount to be confirmed]. We are also not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this site, the free tools or the reports. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be on this page.
